Please use the attached signatures for verifying this release using `gpg`. ## What Changed - Helm releases are now signed with the release maintainer's PGP keys - updated [Sprig](https://github.com/Masterminds/sprig) to v2.18.0 - updated [Kubernetes](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes) client libraries to v1.13 - introduced `--atomic` to `helm install` and `helm upgrade` which restores the previous state in case of a failed install/upgrade attempt - introduced `--render-subchart-notes` to `helm install` and `helm upgrade` which renders all of the subcharts' notes - introduced `--devel` to `helm inspect` to inspect pre-release versions of Helm charts similar to `helm fetch --devel` - introduced `--parallel` to `helm test` for running multiple tests in parallel - introduced a check for a valid chart name on `helm lint` - updated gRPC for better TLS connection handling - fixed an issue where the output of `helm status` was unsorted - fixed an issue where helm ignored build metadata with `helm fetch --version` - fixed an issue where Tiller was improperly sorting unknown resource types and namespaces - fixed an issue where `helm install --set someval=0` would treat the value `0` as a string - fixed an issue where tiller would not respect `helm.io/resource-policy: keep` during an upgrade - fixed a regression where `helm reset --force` would orphan the replicaset backing Tiller - fixed a regression where `helm install --name` would not accept periods in the release name ### Breaking Changes In this release, we made a backwards-incompatible change to the gRPC API. To avoid backward compatibility breakers, we have been pinned to a very old version of gRPC for some time. Recent versions of gRPC fixed some significant networking fixes with TLS connection handling, but it required us to regenerate a few of the proto files, so some parts of the binary wire format may be broken in backwards-incompatible ways.
